Recently, I was having a constant hard-start condition. As I was having fuel-pump problems, I decided to replace it first. However, even after replacing the fuel pump, the hard start condition continued. I did a fuel-pressure check and I discovered that the system would not hold pressure; during Key-on-engine-off condition, the pump would produce about 58 PSI and would go down to zero in about 2 minutes. At this time, I decided to replace the Fuel Injection assembly. I found very favorable reviews of this Delphi unit. I did an online search for the FJ10565 model and Amazon had it available and for a very affordable price. Even though Amazon's "Make Sure It Fits" did not find it to be a match for my vehicle, further research with Delphi and RockAuto gave me a better feel it would work (both claimed it was a direct replacement). It came with the bracket so I did not need the bracket I ordered. Although the kit only came with the o-ring for the injector body and manifold, you would still need to buy the upper intake manifold gasket kit for the other 2 gaskets (upper manifold gasket and the throttle body gasket). The problem I had with my truck was the check engine light was on "P0135 random misfire code", rough running, and hard starting when hot. When I checked the fuel pressure, the pressure dropped to near zero within a minute of turning the key on and then again it would drop to zero within a minute of turning the key off. When I pulled off the manifold it was obvious that fuel pressure regulator. This kit came with a new fuel pressure regulator and is the upgraded SCPI Conversion to MFI version which eliminates the poppet injectors. If you knock off the cost of the regulator, the cost of the kit about equaled the cost of just one new old style...
